Varun Mayya

The CEO and founder of Aeos Labs, a company that builds AI solutions and experiences, Varun Mayya, at just 20, was among the youngest entrepreneurs in India to secure venture capital funding. His expertise lies in the generative AI and content creation fields. His innovative ventures include Godinabox, a tool integrating GPT into WhatsApp; AlphaCTR, a fine-tuned Stable Diffusion model designed for creating engaging thumbnails; and AutoCodePro, a text-to-code platform leveraging the capabilities of Smol. 

An adept computer science engineer with a rich background in technology, Varun has also made strides in game development using Unreal Engine and operates several successful YouTube channels.

Before establishing Aeos, Varun founded Avalon, a community software platform that Unacademy acquired in early 2023. 

His entrepreneurial journey began at the Manipal Institute of Technology, where he not only pursued his engineering degree but also launched his first venture, a t-shirt manufacturing company named SIZER, while freelancing for international clients.

Varun’s early foray into entrepreneurship saw the creation of Jobspire in 2014, a recruitment platform co-founded with Mohak Dhingra, Kartik Luke Singh, and Sandesh Kini. Jobspire quickly gained traction, serving over 4 million requests by 2016 and securing $262,000 in seed funding from six venture capitalists before its acquisition by JustCode in 2017. 

He further demonstrated his visionary leadership by co-founding Avalon Meta with Shashank Udupa and Abhinav Arora, a hybrid education and gaming company. Avalon Meta’s app, featuring courses in finance, marketing, coding, sales, and design, has cultivated a thriving community of 45,000 students.

Throughout his career, Varun has worked with a variety of notable companies including FoxBound, Elune Tech PTE, The Mana Network, Calm India, ENKIDU, and TurnToTech.
